About

Why I Write

I am a lover of words. I read into them far too much. I weigh them carefully. I have observed, analyzed, and nurtured them since I was five years old. They are my comfort. I like bringing people along on my journey; telling them what I see, how I feel, and what I think. I want to use my words to help those imprisoned in their own brains. I want my vulnerable writings to give others permission to escape those prisons, lean into self-work, and discover their identity, their worth, and their purpose in Christ.

Can there be restoration for a soul keeping herself in the bondage in which others have placed her? Believing she's been shot and trapped inside the library surrounded by her dead friends, Diana journeys through the faces and experiences that brought her to this moment. When the grotesque, slithering figure keeping her company refuses to leave she asks, "Where is God? Where is freedom?
